Three Paths to a More Organised Family Record

Each Lineara programme is designed as a self-contained educational experience. Choose the one that fits your current stage — or work through them over time.

How Every Lineara Session Is Structured

Each programme follows the same underlying approach: introduce a topic clearly, give participants time to work with practical materials, and close with a discussion that helps everyone leave with a concrete next step. Nothing is rushed, and no one is expected to have prepared anything in advance.

Facilitators are trained to stay firmly within an educational role. They present information, guide exercises, and respond to questions — but they do not advise, recommend, or comment on individual circumstances.

All sessions are held in small groups and include take-home materials so the learning continues after the day is over.

Topic Introduction

Each session opens with a clear, factual overview of the day's topic presented in plain language.

Guided Exercises

Participants work through structured activities using the templates and prompts provided.

Group Discussion

An open discussion period where questions are welcome and general information is shared.

Take-Home Materials

Every participant leaves with completed templates, checklists, and printed resources to use at home.

Family Story Workshop

Family Story Workshop

A gentle group workshop for gathering and ordering family records, photographs, and stories into a clear collection. The session is entirely educational and organisational — there is no individual guidance of any kind. Participants work at their own pace with a facilitator who introduces topics and answers general questions.

This workshop is particularly well suited to individuals who have a box of documents at home they haven't known how to approach, or to those who want to begin building a family records collection from scratch.

What's Included

  • Storyline Template — a guided document layout for mapping family records
  • Records organisation checklist adapted to Thai household document types
  • Three to four hours of facilitated group learning
  • Light refreshments provided

Session Steps

1

Introduction: Overview of family record types and why they matter.

2

Sorting Exercise: Participants categorise document types using the checklist provided.

3

Storyline Mapping: Guided completion of the Storyline Template at your own pace.

4

Q&A and Close: Open discussion and summary of general next steps participants can consider.

Generations Conversation Session

Generations Conversation Session

A facilitated workshop built around kind, structured prompts for families to share wishes, memories, and understanding across age groups. This session is focused entirely on communication — no legal matters, no financial topics, and no decisions of any kind are part of the programme.

Best attended by two or more family members together. It is also open to individuals who want to reflect on these topics privately and bring what they learn back to their own family conversations at home.

What's Included

  • Conversation Guide booklet for use during and after the session
  • Set of discussion prompt cards for home use
  • Three to four hours of facilitated group session
  • Suitable for individual or multi-generational family attendance

Session Steps

1

Context Setting: Brief educational overview of why generational conversations matter for family records.

2

Prompt Exploration: Small group exercises using the conversation prompt cards.

3

Personal Reflection Time: Quiet individual time to complete sections of the Conversation Guide.

4

Shared Discussion: Optional group sharing and general Q&A with the facilitator.
