Lineara began in Nakhon Ratchasima after its founders noticed a recurring pattern among Thai families: boxes of old photographs with no names on the back, land documents no one could locate, and elderly grandparents holding stories that had never been written down. Not because families didn't care — but because no one had ever given them a calm, structured place to start.
The name Lineara reflects the idea of a line — a timeline of people, places, and documents that stretches back through generations and forward into the future. Our workshops are designed to help participants find their place on that line and begin filling in the details at their own pace.
We are not solicitors, financial planners, or advisers of any kind. We are educators and facilitators. Everything we offer is presented as general information for personal reflection and self-directed organisation. Families take what is useful to them and leave the rest.

We reduce the overwhelm by breaking record-keeping into small, manageable steps that any family member can follow — regardless of how much they already know.

We create spaces where older and younger family members can sit together, share what they know, and listen to what they don't — in an atmosphere that feels comfortable for everyone.
Stay Firmly in Education
We never cross the line into professional advice. Our facilitators are trained to present information, not to recommend it. Participants are always encouraged to seek appropriate professionals for their individual circumstances.

Programme Director
Pattara has spent over fifteen years studying family documentation practices across central Thailand, and leads the design of all Lineara workshop curricula.
Nanthida Wongsuwan
Lead Facilitator
Nanthida facilitates both the Family Story Workshop and Generations Conversation Session, bringing a warm, unhurried presence to every group she works with.
Somporn Klinkaew
Resources & Materials
Somporn designs and maintains all the organising templates, checklists, and learning resources that participants take home from each session.
How We Keep Our Sessions Trustworthy
Facilitator Training
All facilitators complete our internal programme on non-directive facilitation, active listening, and the boundaries of educational delivery before leading any session.
Participant Privacy
No personal document content shared during sessions is recorded or retained. Our privacy standards are outlined clearly in all participant materials and on this website.
Clear Scope of Service
Every session opens with a brief explanation of what Lineara is and is not. We are educators. We do not give legal, financial, tax, or regulated professional advice of any kind.
Curriculum Review
Workshop content is reviewed and updated at least once a year to reflect changes in general practice, participant feedback, and evolving community needs.
Group Size Limits
Sessions are kept to a maximum of twelve participants to ensure a comfortable, unhurried atmosphere where everyone has space to engage at their own level.
Post-Session Support
Participants may contact us by email after a session with questions about the educational materials provided. We do not offer follow-up advice, but we do clarify what was taught.
Family Records as a Living Practice
In many Thai households, important papers — land titles, identity documents, family photographs, handwritten letters — are kept in varying states of order across different family members. A workshop environment offers something most families don't have at home: structured time, a calm facilitator, and practical tools to begin sorting through what exists.
Lineara's sessions are grounded in the belief that gathering and organising family records is, at its heart, an act of care. It is a way of saying: the people who came before us mattered, and the decisions we are navigating now are worth approaching with intention and information.
Our Generations Conversation Session draws on established communication frameworks to create a safe space for family members of different ages to share what they know and what they hope for. These conversations don't require an agenda. They simply need a bit of structure and a facilitator who knows how to hold the space without directing it.
The Heritage Membership extends this work throughout the year, giving participants access to new materials, community sessions, and an ongoing relationship with the Lineara team — at their own pace, on their own terms.
